PROMOTION-CHASING Sheffield United are moving closer to a long-awaited takeover.
The proposed change of ownership has received full clearance from the EFL, according to the US consortium behind the deal.
In a statement, businessmen Steve Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy said they had signed an agreement with the Championship club’s owner Prince Abdullah on behalf of a group of investors.
Rosen is the founder and chairman of Resilience Capital Partners, while Eltoukhy chairs biotech company Guardant Health.
