UPBEAT Mansfield Town boss Nigel Clough says he is ‘delighted’ with the way his players have adapted to the step up to League One – and believes they can cope with any potential winter fixture pile-up.
The 58-year-old led the Stags to a long-desired promotion from League Two last term and they headed into this weekend in a healthy seventh place in the third tier. That was despite having only played 13 games ahead of yesterday’s visit of Bristol Rovers, the joint-lowest number alongside high-flying Birmingham.
