FAST LANE: Paddy Lane nets Pompey’s second

MANAGER John Mousinho reckons he saw both the best and worst of his Portsmouth side in the dramatic 3-2 win at Barnsley that sent them soaring to the top of the table.
Pompey made a blistering start, racing into a three-goal lead in the opening 16 minutes. Colby Bishop bagged the opener from the spot in the eighth minute after he had been fouled and it got even better for the visitors 30 seconds later when Paddy Lane coolly picked out the top corner.
