Bournemouth’s David Brooks set to return to after the international break

The Welshman is expected to ready for selection after the upcoming round of international fixtures.

winger, Brooks, has been out of action since late February, following an ankle injury he suffered during training.

The 23 year old, had just recovered from an ankle ligament injury which saw the young prospect miss the entire 2019/20 season – the winger had to undergo two operations during his period on the sidelines.

Bournemouth manager has issued an update on Brooks fitness, telling the press that he is “out running” and will “hopefully” be back in contention for the Cherries after the international break.

“Brooksy, hopefully after the international break, fingers crossed. Said Woodgate.

“I don't want to put too much pressure on him but I've seen him out running.

“His last injury took a bit longer maybe. It was a different type injury, a different ankle.

“But I'm pleased how he's going. He's doing well and looking good in the running he's doing with the physios and sports scientists.”

Brooks return for Bournemouth could come in their clash at the Vitality against playoff chasing on the 2 of April.
