ALAN Browne has developed into a “fantastic player, leader and captain” of Preston, according to team-mate Greg Cunningham.
Browne joined North End from home-town club Cork City in 2014 and the 25-year-old is fast approaching 300 appearances for the club.
Cunningham, now in his second spell at Preston after rejoining the club in January, has high praise for his fellow Republic of Ireland midfielder.
The defender, 30, said of Browne: “The talent has always been there, but he’s now blossomed in to a fantastic player, leader and captain.”
