Bayern En-Route for Silverware! Kane Breaks A Few More Records

Top

After a dreadful season in Bayern Munich terms, the team has made a strong statement in the opening weeks of the Bundesliga, showcasing that they are here on a revenge mission.

And the fans with Bayern Munich tickets are delighted.

Under new Manager Vincent Kompany, the team seems to have adopted a new style of play and is now en route to establishing an inaccessible lead in the league table.

And to the delight of all the fans with Bayern Munich tickets, Harry Kane is at the front, delivering crucial goals that are elevating the club’s status.

Records Continue for Kane

Harry Kane has added another record to his lengthy list of individual accolades as Bayern Munich thrashed Werder Bremen 5-0.

The England captain struck Bayern’s third goal from the edge of the area – his 41st in 36 league appearances – after Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala had given them a two-goal half-time lead.

Former Crystal Palace forward Olise notched his second before Serge Gnabry completed the route. It was a total domination for Bayern, and Leavign had no space for their opponents.

Kane’s latest strike took his tally for the season to an outstanding ten goals in just six appearances across all competitions.

It was also his 41st goal in the Bundesliga, making him the highest-scoring Englishman in Germany’s top flight.

The former Tottenham striker has overtaken Chelsea loanee Jadon Sancho, who scored 40 Bundesliga goals for Borussia Dortmund – including two last season.

Sancho reached the tally in 118 matches, while it took Kane just 36 games.

Kane’s new record comes just days after he became the highest-scoring Englishman in the Champions League after scoring four goals in Bayern’s 9-2 win over Dinamo Zagreb.

The 31-year-old has lived up to the high expectations that saw him join the German outfit from Tottenham last year for £100m.

Last weekend, he became the fastest player to reach 50 goal involvements in Bundesliga history, overtaking a record previously held by Erling Haaland.

The victory against Werder Bremen ensured Bayern’s winning start under Vincent Kompany remained intact. The side scored 16 goals and conceded just three from their opening four matches.

They will seek to continue their bright form when they host champions Bayer Leverkusen next weekend.

The fans with Bayern Munich tickets are excited about this fixture as they encounter Xabi Alonso’s side, which took away everything Bayern Munich won last season.

Bayern is on a quest for pride, but experts indicate the team will need a lot of work to achieve it.

However, with the likes of Harry Kane and Michael Olise in full swing, it will be easy for manager Vincent Kompany to bring home a win in the first acid test for the season.

Update on Jamal Musiala’s Contract Extension

Jamal Musiala continued his fine start to the season on Saturday against Werder Bremen. The German attacking midfielder was on the scoresheet for Bayern Munich as they clinched a comfortable 5-0 victory.

Musiala has been involved in five goals this season for Bayern (three and two assists) across all competitions. Besides his productivity in the final third, Musiala’s overall performance as an attacking midfielder has been impressive.

Bayern Munich is keen on extending Musiala’s contract

His current deal expires in 2026. With several big European clubs keeping a close eye on Musiala’s contract situation, Bayern wants to reward him with a bumper deal and secure his future. The Bavarian club wants Musiala to be the face of the club in present and future.

Earlier in the year, several rumors surrounded Musiala’s future. Bayern positioned him as the future star of the side. It was reported that there was tension between Musiala and the team, and he was interested in moving out of Bayern.

The fans with Bayern Munich tickets raised their fingers at management for this misalignment, but now discussions are going smoothly.

Die Roten were reportedly going to meet Musiala representatives after the first international break. While talking to Bild on Sunday, Christoph Freund provided a positive update on the contract negotiations with Musiala.

” It’s a very important topic for us. Jamal should be one of the faces of the club in the coming years, and it’s our big wish to keep him at the club. He’s a fantastic player and does special things on the pitch. Fans come to the stadium to watch players like him. We’re in talks; we have a good relationship with Jamal and his entourage. We want to keep him.”

Bayern are not setting a deadline for resolving Musiala’s future. The young attacking midfielder has already publicly revealed the conditions required to stay in Munich long. In an ideal scenario, Rekordmeister should complete negotiations with Musiala before the winter break. They cannot allow the negotiations to drag into the final year of his contract.

Apart from Musiala, Bayern is also working on contract extensions for Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sane. The German internationals are already on high wages, which makes negotiating new deals complex.

In the interview with Bild, Freund showed confidence about extending Kimmich and Sane’s contracts without straining the wage bill. The negotiations with Kimmich and Sane will accelerate in the coming weeks since they have less than 12 months left on their existing deals.

Sane is open to staying in Munich, and the club wants to extend his contract. Kimmich was expected to leave in the summer since Bayern was open to listening to offers for him. However, both parties are now open to a contract renewal.

Meanwhile, Freund also admitted that Bayern is calm about the contract situations of Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer.

If Die Roten doesn’t extend their contracts, both players will be free agents next summer. Neuer and Müller are focusing on club football after retiring from international football. The German veterans have started the season well. Bayern will hold contract talks with them later in the season.

Those with Bayern Munich tickets understand that these two contracts are a very sensitive situation in the club but are confident that the club will offer a year more for the two Bayern stalwarts.
