A new season is soon to be kicked off, as the first match in the Premier League will be held on the 11th of August. The transition to the tournament has been an exciting one since several teams managed to get promotions. With this season, there are both surprises and exciting matches on the horizon.

The latest league table
The league table from the latest table does give slight hints as to what this next season will look like. In the top four, there are the teams Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle who have qualified for the Champions League. At the bottom, there are Leicester, Leeds, and Southampton who have been relegated.
This season showed great performances from Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who ended as the division’s top scorer. It will be interesting to see whether he will become the top scorer this season as well.
What to expect in the key matches
The 2023-24 Premier League season is nothing short of exciting. Will Man City become the first team to win four titles in a row in the history of English football? On the opposite, Liverpool will have to prove themselves as they didn’t manage to reap the fruits from their work. This season will have to be more consistent.
Many fans are also looking forward to the derby between the arch-rivals Liverpool and Manchester United, as they clash on the 16th of December. They will meet for a second time on the 6th of April.
