LEAGUE TWO STOCKPORT moved to the brink of promotion with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at relegation-haunted Colchester. Nick Powell fired home to give the Hatters the lead just after the half-hour, but it was all-square just before the break when Cameron Mc-Geehan sidefooted home from close-range.
