WITH leaders Rotherham having the night off, Peterborough and Coventry took the chance to apply some pressure at the top of the table.
In-form Peterborough put struggling Southend to the sword, running out 4-0 home winners.
After a goalless first half, Posh cut loose in the second period. Siriki Dembele and Jack Taylor set them on their way before the prolific Ivan Toney scored twice to take his tally to 23 league goals this term.
