The former Rotherham, Blackpool and Derby defender talks us through his football memories

First game you watched live? Given my long association with Derby County, people will probably be very unhappy to know that I was born in Nottingham and supported Forest growing up. My dad followed them in the Cloughie years. All my friends were fanatical. I wasn’t, so I didn’t go loads of times, but the first one was a New Year’s Day game against Luton when Des Walker scored the only goal of his career. It was a last-minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw.
