defender Derrick Williams has admitted that the club's players are disappointed with their early season form in .

's side sit 10th in the table after twelve games, but are just two points off the play-off places following their draw with struggling on Tuesday night.

However for a club the size of Blackburn, Williams insists the former winners should be doing much better than they are at present.

“This club shouldn't even be in this league, so you have to take that on board as a player. The fans have high expectations, as do we,” he told Rovers' official website.

“We are a bit disappointed with where we are in the league at the minute, but it's not the end of the world.

“If we win our two games in hand we'll be six points off the top two and we still have to play which is another chance to close the gap.

“If we perform as we did against Plymouth, home and away, and obviously score more goals, it gives us a chance.

“I think our job is to be used to the expectation – it's to be expected at such a big club. It's a pressure but you have to thrive on it.

“We just need to get our heads down and have the confidence to say ‘we're and we're going to beat you today.”

Williams and co. will attempt to match the fans expectations when they welcome to Ewood Park tomorrow afternoon.
