What a story it would be if Brandon Thomas-Asante kept up his current goalscoring form for Coventry City and won the Championship golden boot.
The 26-year-old had eight goals in 11 games for Frank Lampard’s team pre-weekend and it’s no more than he deserves.
This is a lad who left home-town team MK Dons at 20, dropped into the Non-League game at Ebbsfleet and had to battle his way back with Salford before getting his big move to the Championship with West Brom in 2022.
