Wes Burns is having a wonderful season for Ipswich and I’d love to see him playing in the Premier League next year.
I had Wes at Fleetwood in the 2020-21 season, and you could see he had plenty of speed and the ability to win a game. What he lacked was consistency.
He left us to join Ipswich and he’s absolutely flourished since then. He’s 29 now, and he’s probably matured. He’s got a better understanding of the game, so he’s not just reliant on raw pace.
