IT’S all too easy for chairmen to sack the manager when relegation occurs, even if it was that boss who took them to a higher level in the first place.
So it’s heartening to see the top two in League One pre-weekend, Rotherham United and Wycombe Wanderers, kept faith with the man in the hotseat after their demotions from the Championship last season.
Perhaps it wasn’t a surprise as they possess two of the Football League’s longest-serving managers.
