Success for Swans could be a double-edged sword

Recently, the Athletic surveyed 100 current and former players on a range of issues. Among the questions they asked was, which current manager would you most like to play for?
Naturally, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp carried the day. But there was also one vote for Swansea City’s Russell Martin.
Who cast that vote, we will never know. But it shows the esteem in which Martin is held that he was the only person outside Europe’s ‘Big 5’ leagues to merit a mention.
