MOST of us arrived at Oakwell last weekend fully expecting another exhibition of Fulham’s attacking might.
Instead, we were treated to a tactical masterclass from Barnsley manager Poya Asbaghi that suggests Barnsley are capable of survival.
Much like last season, when the Tykes stormed to fifth place, Asbaghi’s side pressed hard and high, suffocating the midfield space and forcing Fulham’s ball-playing defenders into errors. But for a wonderful piece of skill by Harry Wilson, they’d have won the game.
