THE revelation that 25 per cent of EFL footballers do not intend to have any kind of Covid-19 vaccination is not really a revelation at all.
Nor does it have anything to do with being a footballer.
Statistics from NHS England show that roughly 74 per cent of men aged 20-30 in England have received at least one dose of a vaccine. In other words, footballers are no different to the rest of the population.
