DAVE Challinor left Hartlepool in a solid position in League Two. Since his exit, they’ve suffered four league defeats on the spin, though they have pulled off some impressive cup results.
Graeme Lee, who has just taken charge at the Vic, has subsequently inherited a very difficult job but I think it’s a sensible move by the club.
Graeme played nearly 300 times for Pools, and I’m a big believer that ex-players coming back can give clubs an extra boost, especially when they’re struggling.
