THOSE of a certain age will remember when the FA Cup final was THE highlight of the football calendar.
Rewind four or five decades and it was one of the only live domestic matches on the television. With the wall-to-wall coverage these days, that’s hard to fathom.
You had coverage from early morning through to kick-off, reporters at the team hotels and on the coach to Wembley.
