FOR all the talk of how much money clubs have lost chasing the Premier League dream, it may be somewhat of a surprise to see two former owners of football clubs linked to investing back into football.
Former Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has been linked with a takeover of Derby, while ex-Ipswich supremo Marcus Evans has held talks with Huddersfield.
Evans owned the Tractor Boys for the best part of 14 years, but found success very difficult to deliver.
