PEP AND WENGER RIGHT TO HAVE A WHINGE

OVER the last few days we’ve heard everyone, from Arsene Wenger to Pep Guardiola, complain about the crowded festive fixture list.
As a manager – and, more importantly, a football fan-I must admit I share their concerns and frustrations.
Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t just a Premier League issue. From Non-League to the Championship, we’ve all had to deal with a crazy number of matches. Like everyone else, we had to play four games in ten days. And, despite returning a superb ten points from 12, my reservations continue.
