HAVING admired Josh McEachran’s impressive start for Chelsea as a 17-year-old, it was encouraging to watch him for Brentford last week.
The managerial whirlwind at Stamford Bridge, then a series of injuries, stymied his career but, at 24, McEachran still has time to flourish.
If he looks a little lightweight for the Championship, his passing ability, short and long, composure and willingness to show for the ball more than compensate.
