WREXHAM boss Phil Parkinson says the club’s medical team are baffled by the “mysterious” calf injuries afflicting Liberato Cacace.
New Zealand international full-back Cacace, 26, has played just 13 times since making a £2.2m move from Italian side Empoli last summer.
He played in all three of his nation’s games at this summer’s World Cup but is yet to feature for the Red Dragons this season and has now been ruled out for the foreseeable future.
