EVANS MUCH APPIAH WITH ARVIN LINK-UP

BRISTOL Rovers boss Steve Evans says new winger Arvin Appiah is a “wonderful talent” who will be a huge asset for the League Two promotion chasers.
Born in the Netherlands but capped by England at youth level, Appiah came through the ranks at Nottingham Forest and spent several years with Spanish side Almeria before being released in the summer.
He spent the 2023-24 season playing on loan at Rotherham under Evans in the Championship, and the Scot has now signed the 25-year-old on a permanent contract.
