CHARLIE Austin’s first ever appearance as a professional footballer for Swindon came in the Football League Trophy.
“Yeah, we played Norwich at home and I came on for the last half hour,” he recalls. “It was a terrible game - 0-0- and we ended up losing on penalties. But that was the start of everything for me - and I scored my pen!”
