COWAN SEES HOPE FOR SHREWS DESPITE LATE, LATE HEARTBREAK

SHREWSBURY manager Gavin Cowan is confident that his side have the ability to put right their slow start to the new season.
Eight games in and the Shrews are down in 18th place with only two wins and seven goals to their name. Seconds away from securing another victory on Saturday, they were forced to settle for a point as Colchester’s Moses Se-say fired in a 94th-minute equaliser.
But Cowan was far from downhearted, and believes he is seeing enough in his team to have hope for the future.
