POMPEY TEEN HIT BY FREAK INJURY

PORTSMOUTH winger Luke Brooke-Smith could miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious ankle injury in training.
The 18-year-old, signed from New Zealand side Wellington Phoenix for £400,000 in July, has featured four times for Pompey this term, including a start in the opening-day 3-1 defeat to QPR.
“It’s a really unfortunate one, he’s suffered a severe ankle dislocation,” said manager John Mousinho. “We’re going to leave it to settle, but he will go in for surgery after that.”
