KEEPER JOSE TO STAY AT WOLVES

CHAMPIONSHIP By Tom Blackett

WOLVES have received a boost with the news that goalkeeper Jose Sa has signed a new contract.
The Portugal international was in the final year of his previous deal, but has now penned fresh terms until the summer of 2028.
The 33-year-old joined the Molineux outfit in 2021, but was widely expected to leave this summer following Wolves’ relegation from the Premier League.
However, fellow keepers Dan Bentley (Coventry) and Sam Johnstone (Celtic) have moved on and Sa has ended up staying put.
