New boy Gallagher gives Bees dream start

DEAN BRENNAN was delighted with Barnet’s start to the season after they beat Salford City, although he was frustrated by conceding late on.
Oisin Gallagher, on loan from Lincoln City, opened the scoring after 24 minutes, combining with Kabongo Tshimanga before firing into the roof of the net for his first Bees goal.
Just before the interval, Charlie Lakin doubled Barnet’s lead after capitalising on a lapse in concentration from Salford’s defence, slotting the ball past Salford City goalkeeper Will Norris into the bottom-right corner.
