KARL Robinson hailed it a “special night” at the Peninsula Stadium on Thursday after his Salford City side beat then-leaders Bromley to maintain their automatic promotion hopes.
Jorge Grant broke the deadlock seven minutes after the break and Ollie Turton secured the win to ensure their fight for a top-three spot would head into the final day when they head to Crawley.
Robinson commended the way his players improved in the second half to overcome the table-toppers.
