Preston North End assistant boss Stuart McCall felt the result was better than the performance after his team’s win at struggling Oxford United – which made it just one defeat in ten Championship games for the Lilywhites.
Jordan Storey and Daniel Jebbison scored North End’s goals before Brian De Keersmaecker pulled one back for the U’s.
McCall was Preston’s post-match spokesman to the media because manager Paul Heckingbottom was serving a touchline ban.
