SAM STAYS WITH GILLS

GILLINGHAM defender Sam Gale has signed a new contract that will keep him at the League Two club until the summer of 2028.
The 21-year-old has established himself in the first team this season, scoring one goal in 17 appearances.
“I am really thankful to the club for the faith that has been shown in me,” said Gale.
“It is important that I am happy where I am. Now I look to the future.”
