SHEFFIELD Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen remained upbeat despite his side’s loss at Southampton – a result that left them bottom of the table and still searching for a first win in nine games.
After a poor start for the Owls, Manchester United loanee Harry Amass offered brief hope with a superb solo strike before half-time.
However, Southampton’s quality eventually told, with Adam Armstrong restoring the two-goal lead.
“There is a fantastic spirit in the team, but I sit here feeling there was more in the game,” he said.
