STRUGGLING EXILES SEEK CASH BOOST

NEWPORT County say they are in ‘ongoing discussions’ to attract new investment into the club.
The Exiles headed into the weekend bottom of the Football League after a dismal start to the season, and believe they need additional finance to be successful in the long-term.
A statement from the board on Wednesday said: “At the recent Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), shareholders approved motions to allow the club to issue new shares.
