DARREN Ferguson’s fourth stint as boss of Peterborough United came to an end last night after he was sacked following defeat at Blackpool.
His side looked good for a point after Matt Garbett cancelled out Peter Kioso’s own goal, but Scott Banks struck five minutes from time to leave Posh rooted to the foot of the table.
And chairman Darragh MacAnthony reacted a couple of hours late by giving Ferguson the bullet.
