Derby County have endured a dismal start to their Championship campaign, but the performances of summer signing Patrick Agyemang are providing plenty of cause for optimism.

Capped 12 times by the US national team, the 24-year-old forward joined the Rams from Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC in July for a fee in the region of £5.8m.
In doing so, he became the fourth-most expensive signing in Derby’s history and represents their biggest-ever outlay as a non-Premier League club.
