Bolton Wanderers boss Steven Schumacher expressed his delight after ending more than a decade of pain against arch rivals Wigan Athletic.
The fiercely contested Lancashire derby has been dominated by the Latics since 2014, with Wanderers losing four on the spin at home – including two devastating 4-0 defeats.
However, a Marcus Forss double on his full Trotters home league debut, plus strikes from Thierry Gale and Mason Burstow finally gave Schumacher and his impressive Wanderers the bragging rights.
