Several key players have departed over the summer. Lewis Travis, Tyrhys Dolan, Dominic Hyam, Joe Rankin-Costello - they’ve lost a huge amount of Championship experience since the end of last season.
What the club have tried to do is replace them with young players from Scandinavia, Belgium and various European leagues.
