KARL Robinson hailed Salford’s grit as the Ammies dug deep to clinch a tense victory over Accrington Stanley.
First-half goals from Ben Woodburn and Luke Garbutt put the hosts in control before Tyler Walton’s late penalty set up a tense finale at Moor Lane.
The Ammies held firm to secure their first home victory of the campaign, and Robinson was delighted with both their quality and composure.
