Valerien Ismael fumes at Blackburn penalty snub

Valerien Ismael marked his return to the Hawthorns with a defeat, but the former West Brom head coach was left fuming over a rejected penalty appeal and called for greater ruthlessness from his side.
The Blackburn boss, making his first appearance back at the ground since leaving Albion in February 2022, saw his team fall to a narrow loss.
His main grievance came midway through the second half when striker Yuki Ohashi went down under pressure from Torbjorn Heggem inside the box, only for referee David Webb to wave play on despite loud protests from the visitors.
