Match Preview: Hull City v Middlesbrough (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Middlesbrough face on seeking to protect their long unbeaten run in the .

Wednesday’s match will be refereed by Gavin Ward, who has taken charge of 21 Championship games so far this season, issuing two red cards and booking 79 players. He has awarded two penalties.

The last Middlesbrough game Ward refereed was the 1-0 loss at home against on August 5. He is yet to oversee a match featuring Hull this season.
