GAFFER TONY IS KEY TO DOZZELL SWITCH

BIRMINGHAM new boy Andre Dozzell says he was inspired to join the Blues by a conversation with manager Tony Mowbray.
Mowbray, who replaced Wayne Rooney at St Andrew’s earlier this month, is a long-time admirer of Dozzell and tried to sign the attacking midfielder several times during his five-year stint as Blackburn boss.
Now he has finally got his man, with Dozzell signing on loan from Championship rivals QPR on a loan deal until the end of the season.
