CARRICK UPBEAT DESPITE DRAW

BORO boss Michael Carrick felt his side had done enough to win after fighting back from 2-1 down.
The visitors had been enjoying a fine run of form that had seen them win eight of their past ten matches, but were held for the first time since mid-September.
Carrick said: “We did enough to win, a lot of the performance was good, we didn’t give them an awful lot and what we did give them they punished us.
“We were terrific in the second half and they had a freekick that came from nowhere going at the back post and it is what it is.
