The 2023/24 Championship season begins on August 4th, and it appears to be another competitive edition with lots of contenders for promotion to the Premier League.

Leicester, Leeds, and Southampton have all returned to the second tier after being relegated and are the favorites to return at first. Ipswich Town, Plymouth Argyle, and Sheffield Wednesday all made it out of an extremely competitive League One last season and may even be seeking back-to-back promotions.

Leicester Dominates The Market

Leicester was the most expensive of the three teams to be relegated from the Premier League. However, the 2020/21 FA Cup winners were relegated following Everton’s victory on the season’s final day.

The Foxes won the Premier League in the biggest upset in the competition’s history in the 2015/16 s. Still, just seven years later, they returned to the Championship, where they were installed as 11/8 favorites to return to the top division.
