It’s debut dismay for Carrick and Corberan
Michael Carrick’s managerial bow with Middlesbrough ended in disappointment as Preston‘s Jordan Storey notched an injury-time winner.
And Carlos Corberan’s first game incharge of West Brom also ended in defeat as visitors Sheffield United triumphed 2-0.
After seeing his Boro side lose 2-1, Carrick said: “To lose like that obviously stings. At the same time, it’s one game and I said from the start it wasn’t going to be a fairytale.”
