STOKE City boss Alex Neil says his injury-hit squad are limping from game to game ahead of the World Cup break.
Josh Laurent, Harry Souttar and Gavin Kilkenny are all long-term absentees, whilst the likes of Josh Tymon, Harry Clarke, Dujon Sterling, Jack Brown and Sam Clucas have suffered knocks in recent weeks.
Playmaker Nick Powell is fit, but remains short of match sharpness after missing all but 44 minutes of Stoke’s pre-season campaign.
