IT IS all very well ‘showing respect’ to the Queen by cancelling last weekend’s football fixtures, but where was the respect for the fans whose money was wasted? Tens of thousands of travelling supporters who’d bought train tickets and booked hotels were left out of pocket by the decision to postpone games in the EFL and Premier League.
