Before I took on the task of managing Stevenage back in March, I sought the advice of several people I trust within football.
Most - if not all - thought relegation from League Two was a near certainty. They were 22nd in the division, three points above the relegation zone, and Oldham, in 23rd, had games in hand. It was a big decision to take the job.
