Freddie Woodman – The Preston goalkeeper talks us through his football memories
First game you watched live? The first game I ever attended - though I obviously can’t remember it - was when I was a baby. I must have been about four or five months old when my dad (goalkeeper Andy Woodman) played for Northampton against Swansea in the Third Division play-off final at Wembley.
The first one I actually remember was Crystal Palace v Norwich City at Selhurst Park. I was a mascot, aged about four or five. I went in the changing rooms, met the players.
