VINCENT SWOOPS TO SIGN ‘EXCITING’ FRANCHI

BURNLEY boss Vincent Kompany says new goalkeeper Denis Franchi is one for the long-term after bringing him to Turf Moor.
The 19-year-old Italian has joined from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth.
He has spent the last three seasons in the French capital, after joining PSG in the summerof 2019 from Udinese.
He signed his first professional contract in November 20200 anddespite not featuring for the first team, the teenager has a Coupe De France among his honours during his time in Paris.
